Long-time Marietta business Tip Top Poultry continued its tradition of investing in the local communities in which it operates by hosting the pre-game meal for the True Blue Club of Marietta High School. In addition to being a strong supporter of the Blue Devil football program, Tip Top’s owners and leadership team seek ways to give back to the community which has supported Tip Top’s growth over the last seven decades.

In one of the critical games in regional competition, the Marietta Blue Devils hosted rival Hillgrove High School. Prior to the game, Tip Top’s grills were fired up for chicken breasts served alongside traditional Friday night southern fare. Local elected officials, police officers, school system administration and teachers, and longtime residents joined the Tip Top family as over three hundred were served a meal.

Joining three generations of Tip Top family members were members of Tip Top’s leadership team, including Tom Sawyer, Graham Kirkman, and Brian Tucker. Local friends Jud and Mac Thompson helped with the grills and school board member Jason Waters provided a helping hand. Tip Top takes pride in their Marietta roots as a hometown company founded in 1947. Giving back to the community is an important way for Tip Top to honor the friends and neighbors made over their 72 years in Marietta.
